Job Brief

The NAPA Sales Specialist is responsible for building relationships with individuals and companies in order to sell the company’s products and services and reach internal sales goals. This position will also contribute to developing and implementing sales strategies.

Leadership:

  2. Model behaviors that support Nexus mission and core values to be a trusted advisor to our customers and members.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Creating awareness and demand for the company products and services
  2. Greeting and interacting with customers.
  3. Assist customers with purchase decisions and make product recommendations.
  4. Retrieves merchandise from the sales floor, stock room, or other inventory locations, places special orders.
  5. Collects payment using the store point of sale system.
  6. Processes returns and exchanges.
  7. Identifying potential opportunities and effectively communicating benefits and opportunities available to meet needs and interests.
  8. Monitoring innovations, and competitors’ products, prices, and sales
  9. Performing other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • Associates degree in business or related field preferred
  • Knowledge of various relationship sales techniques
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships.
  • Flexible, creative, and able to work in a non-structured developing work environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Excellent oral/written communication skills, including well-developed presentation skills.
  • Excellent customer relationship skills
